We are seeking an experienced commissioning professional to serve as the Director of Commissioning for a variety of multi-million dollar public and private projects, including healthcare, institutional, corporate, and higher education sectors. This position will oversee mechanical commissioning and manage all commissioning activities in central Florida.

  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns regarding commissioning activities.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to clients andsenior management.

Budget and Resource Management:

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring the timely completion of tasks within budgetary constraints.

  • Coordinate resource allocation and scheduling to meet
    project deadlines.

Safety and Compliance:

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols.

SITA executives and managers meticulously planning efficiency in building systems through thorough tests, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • Certification in Commissioning (ACG  preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commissioning, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong background in HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems, testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes, including test and balance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require travel to project sites, including potential exposure to construction environments.
  • Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
